Police investigate alleged case of kidnapping

The Ghana Police Service is investigating a case of kidnapping and assault. This follows a viral video showing a female victim.

In the video, the woman appears tied to a chair in a dark room. She is visibly shaken and has her breasts exposed. The woman pleads for ransom money in Akan Twi.

A masked man then appears in the video. He threatens to cut off the woman's breast if the ransom is not paid.

The police assured the public they are working hard on this case. They aim to arrest those responsible for this crime.
