Pooley’s death: Police arrest female suspect

The Ghana Police Service has arrested another suspect. Her name is Elizabeth Akosua Ntiriwaa, also known as Akosua Black Chinese.

She is linked to the violent disturbances during a football match on February 2, 2025. This match was between Nsoatreman FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC.

With her arrest, the total number of suspects is now six. The incident led to the death of a Kotoko super fan, Francis Yaw Frimpong, known as Pooley.

Elizabeth Akosua Ntiriwaa is in police custody and helping with the investigation.

The police stated that their intelligence-led operation continues. They aim to arrest all those involved and bring them to justice.
