UnityLink donates $11,000 to support Otumfuo’s Heal Komfo Anokye Project

UnityLink Financial Services has donated $11,000 to the "Heal Komfo Anokye" project. This health initiative is led by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The donation was presented at the Manhyia Palace during the Awukudae festival on May 7. Harry Ouedraogo, CEO of UnityLink Group, handed over the cheque to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

Mr. Ouedraogo expressed UnityLink's commitment to renovating and modernizing the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH). He said, “We are proud to support this noble cause with Asanteman’s chiefs and people.”

He emphasized that UnityLink aims for long-term collaboration with the palace. They want to enhance their contribution to the Heal Komfo Anokye initiative.

Mr. Ouedraogo encouraged diaspora members to support this project. The goal is to transform KATH into a world-class health center.

He also wished a belated happy birthday to the Asantehene. He appreciated being granted an audience during the ceremony.

UnityLink looks forward to discussing further support with the King. The "Heal Komfo Anokye" project aims to upgrade the nearly 70-year-old hospital. It will improve healthcare services for millions in Ghana and West Africa. The total cost of this project is estimated at $10 million.
