V/R: Two arrested over suspected ritual murder in Korve

Police in Korve, a suburb of Akatsi North District, have made arrests. They took Dzagey William and Agbemenyo Yao into custody. This is in connection with the suspected ritual murder of Agbodzi Konor.

Konor was reported missing on January 10, 2025. He left home to cut firewood for charcoal. After three days of searching, community members found his mutilated body.

Martin Luther King Gakpo, the local Assemblyman, spoke to Class News. He urged residents to stay calm and let law enforcement handle the situation.

The deceased's body is at St. Anthony Hospital in Dzodze. It is awaiting an autopsy.

The family is asking police to speed up investigations. They want the body released for burial as soon as possible.
