The oxygen plant at the 37 Military Hospital is now fully operational following swift intervention by Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah.

The plant, which had been out of service, posed a serious risk to surgical theatres, ICUs, hospital wards, and the National Ambulance Service.

President John Mahama, prioritizing healthcare security, directed the Defence Ministry to collaborate with National Security to prevent further disruptions.

New equipment was swiftly procured and installed, ensuring a stable oxygen supply.

Dr. Boamah, a medical doctor himself, confirmed the issue has been resolved, emphasizing the government’s commitment to tackling challenges, including those stemming from past economic mismanagement.
