Akufo-Addo to inaugurate hospitals under Agenda 111 today

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will inaugurate several hospital projects under the Agenda 111 initiative on December 5, 2024, aimed at improving healthcare infrastructure in Ghana.

The inauguration will include the Atwima Kwanwoma Municipal Hospital at Trede and the Oforikrom Municipal Hospital in the Ashanti Region.

These hospitals are part of a plan to build 111 districts and specialized hospitals nationwide.

Dr. Anthony Nsiah-Asare, Presidential Advisor on Health, emphasized the modern facilities equipped with advanced medical equipment, including accident and emergency units, pediatric and neonatal units, and various specialized departments.

The initiative seeks to enhance healthcare access, reduce overcrowding, and improve health outcomes across the country.
