Dansoman, Legon residents urge Mahama to complete Agenda 111 Projects

Residents of Legon and Dansoman are calling on the Mahama administration to prioritize the completion of the stalled Agenda 111 hospital projects, initially launched under the Akufo-Addo government.

Their concerns follow President Mahama’s State of the Nation Address, where he confirmed that none of the projects are operational. Reports suggest an estimated $1.7 billion is needed to complete them.

A visit to project sites revealed halted construction, with materials abandoned at New Legon and Dansoman’s Ebenezer SHS premises.

Frustrated residents urged the government to revive the initiative, emphasizing its importance for healthcare access.

With the 2025 budget set for March 11, many await clarity on whether funds will be allocated to resume construction.
