Enterprise Group supports establishment of Dialysis Centre at Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital

Enterprise Group PLC, along with Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital and partners, opened a new Dialysis Centre on May 2, 2025. This centre is a significant step in improving healthcare access in Ghana. It will enhance treatment for chronic kidney disease, especially for those in the Eastern Region.

The initiative reflects Enterprise Group’s commitment to sustainable impact. Their mission is to provide an advantage to everyone who interacts with their brand.

At the event, Mr. Daniel Larbi-Tieku, CEO of Enterprise Group PLC, spoke about their journey of giving back. He noted that last year marked 100 years of Enterprise Insurance. They asked themselves what legacy they would leave beyond business.

Mr. Larbi-Tieku highlighted several impactful projects they have undertaken. These include 16 boreholes across the country and renovations at the Butterfly Center in Accra. He expressed pride in the new Dialysis Centre as a meaningful contribution to the community.

He clarified that this project is not just charity but a corporate social investment. “Success is defined by lives we touch,” he said. He believes businesses thrive when their communities do too.

The commissioning ceremony was attended by Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament. He praised the initiative and stressed that healthcare is a constitutional right. Hon. Samuel Awuku, the local Member of Parliament, also commended Enterprise Group for its leadership.

The new Dialysis Centre includes advanced machines and a furnished waiting area sponsored by Enterprise Group PLC. It aims to provide quality care closer to home for patients.
