GHS reassigns Programme Managers, Deputy Directors in major shake-up

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has announced a major reshuffle.

Several Programme Managers and Deputy Directors are being reassigned nationwide.

These changes took effect on May 19, 2025.

The acting Director-General, Prof Samuel Kaba Akoriyea, signed the notice.

This reshuffle aims to strengthen leadership and improve service delivery.

The notice requests proper handovers for the affected personnel.

It also asks for communication of new duty dates to the office.

A full list of the reshuffle includes 13 senior officials.

This list features regional directors, programme managers, and medical superintendents.
