Renowned Ghanaian businessman and philanthropist Ibrahim Mahama has once again demonstrated his compassion by supporting 10-year-old Lisa Laryea, who is battling leukaemia.

After covering over $110,000 for her treatment, Mahama personally ensured Lisa and her mother were flown to South Africa on November 24, 2024, for specialized care. The cost of the treatment is estimated at around 2 million South African Rand (USD 110,000).

Mahama’s special aide, Rafik Mahama, shared that upon learning about Lisa’s condition, Ibrahim Mahama acted quickly, ensuring everything was arranged for her medical journey. Lisa’s mother expressed deep gratitude, calling Mahama’s help a “gift of hope” for their daughter.
