Korle Bu Teaching Hospital has reopened its outpatient renal dialysis unit after a three-week closure due to a shortage of essential consumables.

The hospital announced that supplies stuck at Tema port will be cleared by the end of the week, allowing dialysis sessions to resume on Wednesday, August 21.

The Ministry of Finance has also granted a tax waiver to expedite additional supplies.

The hospital thanked the Ministries of Health and Finance for their support and expressed appreciation to patients for their patience during the closure.
