The Technical University Teachers Association of Ghana (TUTAG) at Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University has suspended its indefinite strike. This decision follows negotiations with the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) and university management.
The strike began on Monday, April 7. It halted academic activities due to management's failure to address concerns raised over two years. Samadu Kamwine, TUTAG's chapter chairman, spoke to Citi News about the suspension.
He explained that the suspension allows for peaceful dialogue without disrupting classes. "We declared the strike because management failed to fulfill certain demands," he said. On the same day, they received an invitation from GTEC for a meeting on Friday, April
