2024 polls: NDC will resist any ballot printing manipulation – Mahama

John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has vowed to oppose any attempts to manipulate the upcoming elections through ballot printing irregularities.

He accused the Electoral Commission (EC) of printing extra ballots in the 2020 election, which were allegedly given to agents of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Despite the EC's denial of producing surplus ballots for the upcoming polls, Mahama expressed distrust in the electoral management process.

At a campaign rally in Sagnarigu, he urged party agents and observers to remain vigilant to ensure a transparent and fair election.
