A post-election survey by Global InfoAnalytics shows that 68% of respondents hold former President Nana Akufo-Addo responsible for the NPP’s 2024 electoral defeat.
The poll reflects public dissatisfaction with the administration, with 40% blaming former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and 37% pointing to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s flagbearer.
Additionally, 33% hold Dr. Matthew Opoku-Prempeh accountable, while 32% blame other government appointees.
A quarter of respondents also fault NPP Members of Parliament. Economic hardships and governance concerns appear to have shaped voter decisions.
Interestingly, only 9% blame Kennedy Agyapong, suggesting intra-party rivalry had minimal impact.
The results underscore the challenges NPP faces in regaining public confidence post-election.
