Mr. Parke-Davis Magyigbe is the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Jasikan. He recently commissioned a new Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound in Oseikrom, Ashanti Region. This facility includes a 2-bedroom nurses' quarters.
The event took place on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. It marks an important step in improving healthcare access for residents.
The CHPS compound was completed in just six months. It will provide essential medical services and house healthcare workers. This ensures quality care for the community.
In his speech, Magyigbe highlighted the government's commitment to better healthcare infrastructure nationwide. He also thanked Mr. Kofi Adams, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Buem Constituency. MP Adams has supported Oseikrom’s development over many years.
Adams has contributed to education, infrastructure, water access, and community welfare in Oseikrom. Mr. Magyigbe encouraged the community to take ownership of the new facility. He urged them to work with health professionals to maintain it.
Local leaders, health officials, and residents attended the ceremony. They expressed gratitude for this development project. The initiative supports universal health coverage and reduces travel burdens for rural medical services.
