A/R: NDC supporters allegedly force out NSA Director from office

Kwame Baah Mensah, Ashanti Regional Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), was allegedly forced out of his office on January 9 by individuals believed to be members of the NDC task force.

The group stormed the NSA offices at Baba Yara Sports Stadium, demanding he vacate the premises, hand over his keys, and surrender the official vehicle.

Surprisingly, many NSA staff appeared to support the action, accusing Baah Mensah of victimizing workers, withholding allowances, and engaging in corrupt practices.

Jubilant staff also prevented him from taking bottled water purchased with NSA funds.

Police from the Asokwa District intervened, escorting the Director from the premises in a private vehicle.

Investigations are expected to follow to determine the legality of the incident.
