AG meets AU Anti-Corruption Chair ahead of corruption risk assessment

Attorney General Dr. Dominic Ayine met with Seynabou Ndiaye Diakhate. She is the Chairperson of the African Union Advisory Board Against Corruption. They discussed a corruption risk assessment for Ghana.

The president's office and ten other state institutions will be assessed. This is part of the African Union Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption.

A High-Level National Anti-Corruption Conference is set for Friday, June 6. During this conference, the African Union will review Ghana’s commitment to fighting corruption.

Deputy government spokesperson Shamima Muslim emphasized the importance of this assessment. She stated it is crucial in the fight against corruption.
