Ablakwa encourages teachers posted to rural communities in North Tongu with laptops

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the MP for North Tongu, is supporting teachers. He donated laptops to 36 teachers in remote areas of his constituency. This initiative aims to help them with their work.

In a social media post, he announced this donation. Ablakwa wants to improve this annual program. It encourages teachers to accept postings in his constituency.

He plans to enhance capacity building and secure scholarships for these teachers. Additionally, he aims to create an award scheme to retain them. This will ultimately improve educational outcomes.

Ablakwa expressed his commitment on social media: “The tradition continues in my beloved North Tongu.” He emphasized that laptops are given to teachers who accept rural postings. This gesture shows appreciation and helps them feel welcomed.

He mentioned that 36 teachers benefit from this latest round of donations. Ablakwa also intends to expand other teacher-friendly policies. These include continuous training, scholarships, and awards to motivate and retain teachers.
