The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma North, Ewurabena Aubynn, has vowed to take all necessary steps to secure her victory, insisting she fairly won the 2024 elections.
She accused the Electoral Commission (EC) of colluding with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to manipulate pink sheets and rejected electronic collation methods.
Speaking at an NDC vigil on February 9, Aubynn declared, “We are not seeking conflict, but fairness must prevail.”
The vigil, held at the Kwashieman Chiefs Palace, followed the suspension of collation on January 17 after alleged acts of vandalism at the EC’s regional office.
Despite the dispute, the EC insists on following due process before declaring the results.
