Absa Bank launches referral campaign for prestige banking customers

Absa Bank Ghana has launched the 'Prestige Referral' programme. This initiative invites existing Prestige customers to share their banking experience. The campaign rewards those who bring new clients into the Prestige community.

The launch event took place on Friday, 30 May 2025. It was held at the Palms by Eagles Hotel in Accra. The event aimed to highlight the bank’s Prestige offering and commitment to client engagement.

Attendees included Absa Prestige clients, strategic partners, and bank executives. The relaxed setting encouraged networking and authentic conversations among achievers.

Dr. Edward Nartey Botchway, Managing Director of Absa Bank Ghana, spoke at the event. He emphasized trust and appreciation in the campaign: “The Prestige Referral programme is our way of saying thank you.” He added that referring someone is an endorsement that Absa takes seriously.

The evening's highlight was unveiling the Prestige Referral programme. Clients are encouraged to recommend people from their networks to Absa Prestige. Each referral will receive exceptional service similar to what current clients enjoy.

Princess Tettey, Head of Prestige Banking at Absa, explained the initiative's purpose. She said, “Prestige banking is about trust and connection.” Referring someone opens doors for them to access financial solutions and curated experiences.

The Prestige Referral programme is part of Absa's efforts to strengthen its premium banking services and deepen client relationships.
