The Chairman of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Council of Elders, Hackman Owusu Agyemang, has condemned former Dome-Kwabenya MP Adwoa Safo for her public criticism of party leaders, describing her actions as unacceptable.
According to Owusu Agyemang, the party will not tolerate her continuous media outbursts and has decided to refer her to the disciplinary committee.
“She has completely gone out of order, and the General Secretary has stated that she will be referred to the disciplinary committee,” he stated.
He emphasized that Safo must cease all public statements regarding the party, adding that her actions have violated internal party rules.
“As a party, we will apply the necessary regulations. For now, we are dismayed by her actions, especially considering her past senior roles in government and the NPP,” he said.
He urged her to stop granting interviews and making public statements, expressing hope that she would adhere to the party’s directive.
