Former Dome-Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has been summoned by the NPP’s disciplinary committee to appear before a hearing on April 7, 2025.
The summons follows allegations that she made public statements likely to cause disaffection toward the party, in breach of internal directives.
In a formal letter signed by committee secretary Patrick Boamah, the NPP emphasized its commitment to fairness and transparency throughout the process.
The hearing, scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the party's headquarters in Accra, allows Adwoa Safo to present documents, witnesses, and legal representation if needed.
The party’s directive warns members against making comments that may tarnish its image—an instruction Adwoa Safo is alleged to have defied, prompting this disciplinary move.
