Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has expressed dissatisfaction with the appointments made by President John Dramani Mahama, claiming they lack fairness and regional balance.
Speaking on Channel One TV, Afenyo-Markin highlighted the underrepresentation of certain regions, particularly the Volta and Greater Accra regions, in the current distribution of appointments.
He emphasized the importance of ensuring equitable representation across the country, stressing that regions like Greater Accra and Volta deserve better treatment.
Afenyo-Markin also pointed to past accusations against the previous administration, suggesting that Mahama's government must avoid repeating the mistakes of nepotism.
"We’re watching," he remarked, underscoring the need for fairness in the current round of appointments.
