Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has addressed resurfaced reports about his past business debts, asserting that all outstanding obligations have been fully settled.
In an interview on GHOne TV, Afenyo-Markin clarified that the debts related to his companies, Square Logistics and Excel Courier, were resolved years ago after facing financial difficulties.
He detailed past issues with banks like Access Bank and Standard Chartered but emphasized that all loans were paid off and collaterals returned.
Afenyo-Markin affirmed his financial integrity, stating, “It’s normal for businesses to owe, but what matters is that I paid.”
