Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has called on New Patriotic Party (NPP) MPs to remain resilient and united following the party’s defeat in the 2024 general election, which sees the National Democratic Congress (NDC) take the parliamentary majority.

In a Christmas message, the Effutu MP acknowledged the challenges ahead but encouraged his colleagues to draw inspiration from the NDC's 2016 defeat and recovery.

Emphasizing collective action, he introduced a new mantra, “Touch One, Touch All,” to foster mutual support within the party.

Afenyo-Markin urged MPs to prioritize health, prayer, and optimism, expressing confidence in the NPP’s ability to rebuild.

He concluded with festive well-wishes and a hopeful outlook for the party’s future.
