After lying about my involvement in Bawku conflict NDC MPs can’t go home – Bawumia teases

Former Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has praised the Lord. He believes God punished the NDC for their lies about him regarding the Bawku conflict.

He noted that NDC MPs in the Bawku area are struggling to return home. The people have seen through their lies and are now watching them closely. These MPs have remained in Accra during the turmoil but cannot help bring peace.

"Only God makes things right," he said. "Today, the people of Bawku realize that the NDC lied to them." He added that NDC MPs from Bawku are having a tough time and cannot go home.

"They are being sought after for lying about me," he continued. "Now they must face their constituents, but they are unwilling to return." He made these comments while addressing party members in the Upper East Region.

Dr. Bawumia also shared an experience from Konongo. The Kusasi chief and his people apologized to him for their stance during the 2024 elections.

He believes that if another election were held now, the results would be different from 2024.
