Airbus scandal: Group petitions Akufo-Addo, demands public inquiry into Mahama’s involvement

The "Fixing The Country Movement" has petitioned President Akufo-Addo to initiate a public inquiry into the Airbus Bribery Scandal involving former President John Mahama.

This request follows the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) clearing Mahama and others of any wrongdoing after a four-year investigation.

Despite this, the group insists that Mahama, identified as "Government Official 1" in UK and US court documents, was involved in the scandal.

The petition argues that it is unacceptable for the OSP to have cleared Mahama and calls for an independent investigation to resolve the issue.
