The Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government has secured funding for 20 interchanges and completed 13,624 kilometers of road projects, according to Roads Minister Francis Asenso-Boakye.
Speaking on Peace FM, he assured Ghanaians that all ongoing roadworks are fully financed and will be completed to ease traffic and improve travel.
Asenso-Boakye highlighted regional achievements, including a 172% increase in roads in the Ashanti Region and a 295% rise in the Northern Region compared to the previous Mahama administration.
The government has completed nine interchanges, such as Pokuase and Tamale, with 16 more under construction, including projects in Nungua and Suame.
The Minister emphasized that the NPP’s road initiatives far exceed the NDC’s efforts, showcasing a strong commitment to infrastructure development nationwide.
