Member of Parliament for Odododiodioo, Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye, has criticized President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s legacy as his tenure ends, claiming it lacks substantial achievements.
Speaking on Eyewitness News on January 3, Vanderpuye accused the president of relying on self-praise and presenting exaggerated claims, particularly in his final State of the Nation Address.
Vanderpuye also condemned Akufo-Addo’s performance in sports and youth development, describing these areas as major disappointments under his administration. He argued that initiatives like NABCO and Planting for Food and Jobs failed to yield significant results.
President Akufo-Addo, in his address, described his presidency as a profound honor, highlighting both challenges and successes during his tenure.
