Akufo-Addo honours Bawumia with ‘Order of the Star of Ghana Award’

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been awarded the Order of the Star of Ghana – Officer Award at the 2024 National Honours and Awards ceremony.

Presented by President Nana Akufo-Addo at the Accra International Conference Centre, the award acknowledges Dr. Bawumia’s exceptional contributions to national development, particularly his leadership in economic policies and digital transformation.

The ceremony celebrated notable Ghanaians and institutions advancing the nation, including key ministers like Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Francis Asenso-Boakye, and Chief of Staff Frema Opare, who were also honoured for their service.
