Akufo-Addo’s actions were so loud, Ghanaians couldn’t hear Bawumia’s policies- NPP MP

Oforikrom MP, Dr. Emmanuel Marfo, has criticised the NPP leadership for inconsistencies between government actions and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign promises.

He cited the failure to pass an anti-LGBTQ+ law despite Dr. Bawumia’s firm stance and the controversial E-Levy, which clashed with the Vice President’s digitalisation agenda and promise to repeal it if elected.

Dr. Marfo argued that these contradictions created public distrust and weakened the party’s campaign, making it harder to secure electoral victory.

He questioned why Ghanaians should believe in Dr. Bawumia’s promises when the current administration, led by President Akufo-Addo, failed to align with them.

"What you are doing is so loud, I cannot hear what you are saying," he remarked.
