Alex Segbefia approved as Chief of Staff to VP Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang

President John Dramani Mahama has approved the appointment of Alex Segbefia as Chief of Staff to Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, effective January 28, 2025.

Segbefia, a distinguished Ghanaian lawyer and politician, brings significant experience to the role.

He previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff during the Mills government and as Minister of Health under the Mahama administration.

This appointment aligns with the government’s Resetting Ghana agenda, aimed at enhancing governance and policy coordination within the Vice President’s office.

Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Acting Spokesperson to the President, confirmed the approval, emphasizing the government’s focus on capable leadership.
