Ambulance case: Jakpa’s allegations against A-G warrant serious attention – Samson Anyenini

Private legal practitioner Samson Lardy Anyenini believes allegations made by the third accused in the trial of Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson against Attorney-General Godfred Dame must be taken seriously.

Richard Jakpa, accused in the ambulance purchase trial, claimed the A-G had repeatedly approached him to build a case against Forson. Jakpa threatened to reveal evidence if pressed further.

Anyenini emphasized the gravity of these allegations, suggesting they warrant scrutiny by relevant institutions.

The NDC views the trial as persecution of Dr. Forson. The Attorney-General’s office denied needing cooperation from any accused persons and rejected Jakpa's plea bargaining proposals.
