Ameyaw-Akumfi is innocent of all charges – Ken Kuranchie

Ken Kuranchie, lawyer for Prof. Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi, has insisted on his client’s innocence following his detention by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB).

Prof. Ameyaw-Akumfi, a former Board Chairman of the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund (GIIF), is under investigation for financial approvals made during his tenure.

While the details remain unclear, Kuranchie has called for due legal process, asserting, “My client is innocent of absolutely all charges. Let’s see how the government builds its case.”
