Deputy Defence Minister Brogya Genfi has denied claims about his assets.
The Fourth Estate published an article on April 30, 2025. It stated that 55 appointees of John Dramani Mahama did not declare their assets.
These appointees ignored Mahama's March 31 deadline for asset declaration.
In a social media post, Genfi said he had declared his assets.
He called the Fourth Estate's publication false and demanded a correction.
Genfi wrote, "Dear The Fourth Estate, you have made a false publication about me."
He continued, "I filed my assets declaration with the Auditor General on March 28, 2025, at 4 PM."
Genfi has the official receipt to prove this claim.
He stated that the false publication harmed his reputation.
He warned the Fourth Estate to correct it within 24 hours or face legal action.
