Ato Forson named Finance Minister-designate; Ayine nominated as Attorney General

President John Mahama has nominated Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson as Finance Minister-designate, alongside John Abdulai Jinapor as Energy Minister-designate and Dominic Akuritinga Ayine as Attorney General and Minister of Justice-designate.

The announcement was made in a statement issued by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Acting Spokesperson to the President.

The nominees are expected to play critical roles in advancing the administration’s agenda in economic recovery, energy sustainability, and justice reforms, pending parliamentary approval.
