Ato Forson warns Government of accountability for unmet commitments in 2025

Minority Leader, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has warned the government that it will be held accountable for any unfulfilled commitments between 1 and 7 January 2025.

His remarks followed the Finance Minister’s failure to present a mini-budget for the first quarter of 2025, raising concerns over the government's preparedness for the new year.

Dr. Ato Forson highlighted the risk of disrupted services and obligations if the budget is not approved on time, urging the outgoing Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration to address the issue to prevent hardship.

He also reiterated the Minority's commitment to holding the government accountable for its actions.
