Former MP Inusah Fuseini has criticized the increasing indiscipline in Ghana’s Parliament following alleged attacks on Dr. Zanetor Rawlings.
Speaking on Joy News, he condemned the disruptive behavior of MPs and rejected the justification of past misconduct to excuse present actions.
Fuseini noted that some argue the majority cannot complain about attacks on Rawlings due to their past treatment of Lydia Alhassan.
However, he insisted that each Parliament should be judged independently, stating that the ninth Parliament cannot be held accountable for the actions of the eighth.
He emphasized that past wrongs should serve as historical lessons rather than excuses for present misconduct, calling for greater decorum and accountability in legislative proceedings.
