Madam Janet Nablah, the National Chairman of the People’s National Party (PNP), has strongly criticized the Attorney General, Dr. Dominic Ayine, claiming he will fail to secure convictions in any of the corruption cases against former government officials.
Nablah argued that the current administration is not combating corruption, but instead protecting individuals previously accused of misconduct.
She contended that the government is targeting political opponents rather than adhering to the rule of law.
Nablah emphasized that if there is evidence of corruption, the government should take the offenders to court instead of engaging in media campaigns.
She accused the Attorney General of lacking the credibility and legal competence to pursue corruption cases effectively, pointing out that his justification of cleared individuals undermines the fight against corruption.
Nablah further accused the NDC government of using its power to persecute political rivals, warning that Ghanaians would not tolerate actions undermining the democratic system.
