Attorney-General vows to enforce Code of Conduct, pursue sanctions against corrupt officials

The Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Dr. Dominic Ayine, is committed to integrity in public office. He will strictly enforce the new Code of Conduct for public officials.

At the launch event, Dr. Ayine emphasized the need for accountability in the public sector. He stated that ethical standards are essential for good governance and public trust.

"The Code of Conduct is not just a guide; it is a legal and moral obligation," he said. He assured that it would be enforced rigorously.

Dr. Ayine also promised decisive legal action against any official who violates the law. “No one is above the law,” he declared.

He added that if breaches occur and evidence supports it, criminal proceedings will follow without hesitation.
