Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga has dismissed concerns from Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, who suggested his approach to parliamentary debates could obstruct government business.
Speaking on Channel One TV, Ayariga described Afenyo-Markin’s remarks as overly dramatic and emphasized his commitment to ensuring swift and efficient approvals of the president’s appointees.
“My goal is clear: to assist the president in securing the approval of his ministers and ensuring they are positioned to serve the nation,” Ayariga said.
He highlighted the unprecedented speed of ministerial approvals under his leadership, urging a focus on results over drama.
Ayariga reiterated that his leadership is measured by outcomes, not theatrics, as he works to advance government business effectively.
