Bawumia Pleased With Mike Oquaye's Report, Calls It 'Insightful and Valuable' For NPP's Future

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the New Patriotic Party (NPP) 2024 presidential candidate. He expressed satisfaction with a report by Professor Aaron Mike Oquaye. He called it “thorough, insightful, and a valuable contribution.” This report will help the party prepare for the 2028 general elections.

Bawumia spoke at the NPP headquarters in Accra on April 23. This was ahead of the party's “Thank You Tour.” He praised the findings and recommendations from Oquaye, a former Speaker of Parliament.

Professor Oquaye led a committee reviewing NPP’s internal structures and electoral performance. He submitted his detailed report earlier this week. Bawumia assured party leadership and supporters they would take its recommendations seriously.
