Bawumia's Aide slams ex-SIC MD for alleged refusal to handover

Kofi Tonto, an aide to former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has criticized former SIC Insurance MD Hollistar Duah-Yentumi for allegedly refusing to hand over to the newly appointed Acting MD, James Agyenim-Boateng.

In a Facebook post on February 6, Tonto insisted that officials appointed under the previous administration must step aside for those aligned with President Mahama’s vision.

Reports indicate that Duah-Yentumi not only failed to hand over but also locked the MD’s office and absconded with the keys, preventing the new MD from assuming duty.

The standoff has raised concerns about the transition process, as Duah-Yentumi allegedly skipped meetings and withheld handing-over notes, complicating efforts for a smooth change in leadership.
