Osman Ayariga, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority, criticized Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia. He condemned Bawumia's management of Ghana's economy and currency.
Ayariga stated that Bawumia owes Ghanaians an apology for his failures. Instead, he should congratulate economic actors like Forcet. He said, "Bawumia should be apologizing to us due to his inability to manage a currency."
He reminded everyone of Bawumia’s praise for a seven-member economic team led by Dr. Baffour. According to Ayariga, this team failed to deliver results.
In contrast, he highlighted Forcet's achievements. Ayariga claimed Forcet accomplished in months what the team could not do.
He noted, "What that seven-member committee couldn’t do, one man at Forcet has done." He emphasized that Forcet achieved results within five or six months.
Ayariga demanded that Bawumia apologize to Ghanaians and congratulate former President John Dramani Mahama. He questioned the sincerity of Bawumia’s recent apology and accused him of trying to deceive opposition members.
"If he’s still trying to deceive PPP members, they are wide awake," Ayariga said. He labeled Bawumia a “con artist” attempting to mislead the public.
"The theatrics and dishonesty show he is being a con artist," he added. Ayariga believes Bawumia is trying to convince people he has changed after his apology.
He concluded that Bawumia’s apology is very dishonest.
