Be a president for all and reverse the unfair dismissals – Bawumia to Mahama

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has urged President John Mahama to uphold his commitment to serving all Ghanaians by reversing the recent dismissals of public sector employees.

The directive, issued by Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, has revoked appointments made under the previous administration, sparking widespread criticism.

In a Facebook post, Dr. Bawumia condemned the move, arguing that legitimate employees should not be dismissed based on political affiliations.

He called on President Mahama to protect Ghana’s democracy and state institutions by halting what he described as unjust terminations.
