Be careful not to be cursed – NAPO warns Amoakohene that power is used on humans, not animals

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the NPP's running mate for the 2024 elections, has advised Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene to exercise his authority with wisdom and compassion.

remarks follow an incident where the minister was seen reprimanding firefighters during a blaze at Adum Bluelight Market in Kumasi.

Speaking at a donation event on April 2, 2025, NAPO stressed that leadership should attract blessings, not curses.

“Power is meant for humans, not animals,” he said, urging a more humane approach.

The March 21 fire caused significant losses for traders.

In response, NAPO donated GH₵50,000 and 500 bags of cement to aid rebuilding efforts, assuring victims of continued support.
