Ahead of President John Mahama’s first State of the Nation Address (SONA) on February 27, NPP Members of Parliament have called on him to be transparent about the country's condition under his administration.
This will be Mahama’s maiden SONA since beginning his second term in January.
Speaking to journalists in Parliament, NPP MPs, including Akwasi Konadu, Kofi Amankwah Manu, and Collins Adomako Mensah, emphasized the need for honesty in addressing key issues such as employment, the economy, and the power crisis.
Meanwhile, NDC MPs, including Sebastian Deh and Lawrencia Dziwornu, believe Mahama’s address will inspire hope and outline a strategic vision for Ghana’s development.
The speech is expected to set the tone for his administration’s agenda.
