Banda MP Ibrahim Ahmed has expressed confidence that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) minority will thrive under the leadership of Alexander Afenyo Markin.
Ahmed described Markin as a “born opposition leader,” emphasizing that his expertise in holding the National Democratic Congress (NDC) accountable will be invaluable.
Speaking to reporters on December 20, Ahmed noted that Markin's skills make him an ideal minority leader. His ability to challenge the NDC’s supermajority would be more effective than his previous role as majority leader.
According to Ahmed, Afenyo Markin is best suited to "attack" from the minority position, keeping the NDC on their toes.
