Prof. Titus Beyuo, the NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate for Lambussie, has criticized the Akufo-Addo administration for the rising exodus of Ghanaian healthcare professionals, attributing it to poor health sector management and low pay.
Speaking on Channel One TV, he noted that many experienced doctors and nurses are leaving due to lost confidence in Ghana's economic future.
Beyuo expressed hope that a change to NDC leadership in the 2024 elections would restore optimism and help retain healthcare talent.
He outlined the NDC’s commitment to policies like an ethical migration system, with compensation from partner countries for departing professionals, and improved incentives to encourage doctors and nurses to work within Ghana.
