Bryan Acheampong forms exploratory committee for possible presidential bid

Dr. Bryan Acheampong, a Member of Parliament for Abetifi, is exploring a presidential bid. He has formed an exploratory committee for this purpose.

The committee will engage key stakeholders and listen to party members. They aim to align Dr. Acheampong's vision with the aspirations of the NPP and Ghanaians.

In a statement, Dr. Acheampong expressed his commitment to the NPP's core values. He believes the party is at a crucial point that requires unity and renewed dedication.

The committee is expected to submit its findings in four weeks. Dr. Acheampong made this decision after consulting family, friends, and party members.

He highlighted his lifelong dedication to the NPP through various roles. These include being a grassroots organizer, party staffer, and Cabinet Minister.

"My journey within the NPP has been lifelong and personal," he stated. He emphasized insights gained from these experiences about dedication and strategic vision.

Dr. Acheampong also reaffirmed his commitment to important issues like job creation and food security. He stressed youth development, infrastructure growth, safety, and good governance as priorities.

He urged party members to stay united in spirit and conduct while pursuing effective leadership for Ghana.
